At Halcyon Court care home in Leeds residents have produced artwork and collected together wartime memorabilia for a special VE Day display in the home.

Themed Afternoon Tea at Lightbowne Hall
On 6 May residents at Lightbowne Hall care home in Manchester will be enjoying a special afternoon tea with their friends and family to mark VE Day together.

The Ridings will be joining a community day
Residents from The Ridings will be going along to a special event at Banbury Town Hall on 8 May to enjoy an afternoon of live music, speeches and stories of wartime memories and a miliary vehicle display.
